Lamp Work Museum Reproduction Meringovian
This bead is deliberately made to be very basic. Roman beads often were, and this is a reproduction of the kind of bead that gets found in Archeological sites in Northern France and Northern Germany. The technology was left behind by the retreating Romans. This period of Merovingian History stretches between 400 AD to 800 AD.The bead is 16 mm x 14 mm. It is warm and friendly! I hung it, with Copper, on a dark Turquoise Cotton cord with two sliding knots.
