African Trade Beads are becoming harder to find, I am talking about the real ones, those made between the 1600s and early 1900s mainly in Murano, Italy, Bohemia or Holland. Nowadays many are charming copies, often made in Africa itself. these are perfectly genuine pieces, each one! You can research them online if you like, just Google "African trade Beads" . I have been collecting them for decades, inspired by their history and charm. This bracelet is about 8 1/2 ins It will fit a man or woman with a larger wrist! It is made on super strong Industrial elastic, 1.5 mm as opposed to the usual 1mm. The beads are spaced with Copper hishi from the Giriama Tribe in Kenya.
