Broach Pin Granite and Sterling Silver
$31.00
This little bead, looking so unassuming, was made sometime between 200 BC and 300 AD. These beads come in all shapes and sizes and I sort through my collection to find those that lend themselves to being made into a piece of jewelry. The source for these granite beads is Djenne in Mali. We call it Granite but technically I suppose the correct term for this stone is Gneiss..Oh well, it is ancient and charming.. I built the pin with Sterling Silver. Perfect for a hat or lapel..
