Very interesting. The large beads are cut from Helmet Shells from the Bay of Bengal. They were sent to China, many years ago, to be cut to find the Eye of Buddha inside,the darker or lighter patches. You can see how this works when you have the beads in hand. You can either finish this necklace or take it apart and use the beads and the Copper hishi. The Copper hishi come from Kenya. They are traditional made by the Giriama tribe. Then little Pewter daisies. The thread by the way, is very strong, it too has a history but too long to tell here!
