Earrings With Rare African Trade Beads With Sterling Silver Made by Kate Drew-Wilkinson

It's interesting to think that a couple of humble Green Beads can be so rare...but they are.. I made the original pair of this design about twenty five years ago... and kept them in my private collection... I have some of the historic glass disks left, so I got them out and copied the original pair. The Yellow disks are rare and the Green even more rare! The Blue are more contemporary but still probably made in the 1940s. Remember, the head display on which I have photographed the beads is not the same size as a human, although the ears are! The earrings hang just under one inch below their Sterling Silver French Hooks.
