Granite, Aluminum and Copper All Vintage in Necklace Kate Drew-Wilkinson

This is quite a piece. The Granite beads come from Djenne in Mali, the beads cut between 200 BC and 300 AD.. The Aluminum beads were made in Ethiopia, out of old pots and pans.. traditional style. The Copper Hishi is from Kenya, made by the Giriama tribe, again, traditional. So, this is my way of putting together a tribal piece. Strung on very good 1mm cotton cord with two sliding knots. I think this might be treasured by someone soon.
