This is a wonderful bead. I do not remember who I bought it from, probably at one of the early Best Bead Shows in Tucson. I seem to remember the artist was Japanese... the work does reflect that in my opinion...and I probably paid quite a bit for it! Anyway, it is luscious in it's discipline, texture and workmanship, even though it looks so simple in a way..I put in a couple of small beads to help the designer of a beautiful necklace perhaps.
