Lewis and Clark Beads Two 1800s

$65.00

The beginning of modern gold stone aventurine glass production began in Murano, Italy during the 17th century. These beads were made for trade in African in the early 1800s. They have been visibly traveled and appreciated and are neither cracked or chipped. The gold stone is very visible and some of the surface colors have worn away through their travels. These beads are getting ever harder to find both at this age and in this condition. There are others around but they seem mainly to be a bit younger than these. The Chinese are collecting rare old beads and soon none will be available. The Chinese regard them as good investments.. Beadcoin!!
