Loose Beads Recycled Stained Glass Several colors
$28.00
In the Early 1990s I was producing Lamp work Bead jewelry for a National Store chain called The Nature Company... Remember them? I was in their catalog for about 7 years, so if you have any old copies from the 090's, you;ll find me there.
I would be given orders of 450 necklaces in those days. The story about how this happened and how I coped has to be told but not here. The very first lamp work necklace to go into a catalogue was produced by me and there were 26 beads in each necklace..It's true.
I lived near Guadalajara at the time and trained five local men to make the beads for that order. The beads in this order were finer. All beads by me at that time were made from recycled stained glass and I used Spectrum because many local window makers had boxes of dusty remnants available to me free. Anyway, the particular necklace series these were for, only contained 5 beads. .
Two glass street artists from Tlaquepaque were my artists and they were amazing.Another story to be told..Here are some of those overruns. 15 mm across x 13 mm.
