Original (1990s) Lewis Wilson Bead from Exhibition in National French Museum
I have owned this bead for about 25 years. It is One of the first beads he made. I believe it is shown being made in one if his original VCRs! He and I were two of the very first to film our hands working. In those days there was comparatively little information about how to lamp work beads. This is made with Borosilicate glass. It is quite large as you can see from the comparison with a dime, but if you are a collector, this is a prize. It was in an Exhibition in a National French Museum in Normandy. It took me 10 years to find a museum ready to do a gathering of world artists. Another story. I an tell you more if you acquire this original piece of Lewis Wilson"s history. A definite collectable. He has gone from strength to strength, but these Dragons were his entry into glass and he demonstrates it in one of his videos.
